Interaction Design and Mobile Business:

Poor usability has affected the early adoption of mobile wireless technologies. But the consequences of poor usability extend beyond slowing down the adoption of IT, with the more obvious examples being the cost to corporations of providing technical support, lower productivity, the use of inefficient work-arounds that can lead to important data being missed or corrupted, damage to customer loyalty and ongoing damage to employee morale. This session welcomes contributions that incorporate user-centred design approaches, or that investigate Human Computer Interaction and usability issues, or that seek to place an informed understanding of real user practice at the centre of mbusiness development.
